Andrew graduated from the University of Salford with a Joint Honours BSc in Information Technology and Biology, on graduation he joined an Energy and Environmental Consultancy where he worked as an information advisor. He was responsible for reducing energy costs for North East SME’s through renegotiation of electricity contracts and implementing energy saving measures and energy audits. This work resulted in a collective saving for North East companies of over £1million.
Since joining Wood Holmes Group in 2003, Andrew has gained experience of both quantitative and qualitative methodologies and has a good knowledge of all areas of the business.
He is currently working on projects including the New Tyne Crossing, taking on the role of information manager, as well as undertaking an economic impact assessment of the project, the Manchester Metrolink Phase 3a Project supporting stakeholder and community engagement and also working on a project for a local social housing provider to evaluate current and possible future environmental activity of their suppliers and contractors.
Recent project work includes: a staff survey for Barlow Robbins LLP, mapping domiciliary health care provision across the UK for Craegmoor Health and assessing the market potential for expanding and diversifying its business operations in the UK and USA and mapping competitors for Kone Cranes.
