Securing a valued future workforce
Food and Drink Skills Summit
A key event for those working in food and drink, including new product development, processing, packaging, and logistics.
When the economy returns to a period of growth, the businesses that thrive will be those identifying and capitalising on product, process and packaging innovations. In order to do so, companies will need people with the necessary skills and abilities to deliver this ambition.
The National Skills Academy for Food and Drink Manufacturing and Sheffield Hallam University are giving you a unique opportunity to voice your company’s requirements for skills and training. This is your chance to influence training provision and the employment-readiness of graduates, ensuring you have the necessary people to drive your company’s growth.
The event will offer lively debate around the support needed for product, process and packaging improvements, and the people and skills needed to achieve this. The day will feature innovative speakers from the sector, and will reveal the findings of research into Yorkshire and Humber’s skills requirements in this important sector.
Network with key players in food and drink, debate topics of strategic importance to your business, and find out about the support, expertise and funding available from organisations including Yorkshire Forward and the National Skills Academy for Food and Drink Manufacturing, and its members including Sheffield Hallam University.
Your input is vital to ensure we provide the right courses, training and public sector support to meet your company’s needs.
