Building on the success of Oktoberfest 2008, Engineering Clusters County Durham are planning Oktoberfest 2009. This year’s event will take place on the 1st of October at Rainton Meadows Arena, Houghton-le-Spring.
The event will showcase the wealth of engineering and manufacturing excellence across the region and will feature over 100 exhibitors including Tees Valley Engineering Partnership (TVEP), South Tyneside Manufacturing Forum (ST-MF) and key regional clusters such as Northern Offshore Federation (NOF) and the North East Process Industries Cluster (NEPIC).
Oktoberfest ‘09 will provide a fantastic opportunity to inter-trade, win new business, find new suppliers in your own backyard and showcase your expertise and capabilities to an interested and relevant audience.
The event is designed to highlight these firms, facilitate networking and attract international buyers. In today’s climate a great deal of attention is given to the economic downturn. However, Oktoberfest is going to be a day to be remembered for the positive atmosphere and future opportunities within the industry.
